From 1578 to 1670, the city of Makati was under the jurisdiction of a Franciscan priest named
Pedro De Alfaro.
Fr. Pedro took charge of constructing the parish church in 1620 and by 1670, Makati was established as an independent town.
The town was named San Pedro de Makati in honor of its patron saint. The locals, however, renamed it to the more colloquial and more welcoming – SAMPIRO.
SAMPIRO SALCEDO PARK
is an homage to the hospitality and charm of classic Manila.
When a night out was an event to look forward to and a chance to reconnect with friends.
When people came together to enjoy great food, great drinks and great conversation.
Glad you could join us.
